Call for Papers
This open sub-theme is dedicated to exploring the evolving nature of work and the workplace, such as the challenges and
opportunities presented by modern technologies, shifting social dynamics, and shifting attitudes toward work-life balance.
The sub-theme includes high-quality papers that provide new perspectives on how to reimagine work and the workplace in order
to unleash new levels of creativity and foster a more productive, meaningful, and fulfilling work environment.
Alessia Contu is a Full Professor of Management in the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, USA. Her areas
of interest include Organizational Theory, Ethical and Social Issues in Management , International Development & Political
Economy, OB & OD, and Psychoanalysis. Alessia is a member of the Scientific Committee of the EGOS Colloquium 2023 in Cagliari.
Cinzia Priola is a Full Professor of Work and Organisation Studies at The Open University, United Kingdom. Her research interests focus
on the intersections between people, work and society in relation to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. Cinzia has researched
and written on work and social inclusion, gender and sexuality in organisations, identities in the workplace, feminisms and
employee branding.
Jared M. Poole is an Assistant Professor of Management in the College of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Boston, USA. He primarily
teaches a course on managerial ethics in the undergraduate program. Jared’s research focuses on workplace identities, usually
with a focus on the values that are cultivated and honored in organizations.
