Frequently asked questions

as of October 13, 2025

This is entirely up to you, as long as you stick to the guidelines.

No, organizing a local hub is your own financial and organizational responsibility. We will, of course, provide support and advise whenever necessary.

For longer program points, like workshops or panel discussions, we recommend scheduling them on Wednesday. Overlaps with the usual Wednesday program (PDWs, SAP Community Day, and Feminist Network Meeting) are permitted. The only exception is for the official Opening Ceremony of the 42nd EGOS Colloquium 2026.

All local events during the main Colloquium (July 9-11, 2026) must be scheduled outside of the official program.

We are working diligently to provide you with a preliminary program in a timely manner and will continue to update it on a regular basis over the coming months. So please check the program regularly or contact us, before making any binding commitments.

The PhD/Post-Doctoral workshop 2026 (Tuesday) will take place onsite in Bergamo; as usual, spots will be available to attend online. You can offer rooms where PhD students can join the workshop in Bergamo, but you cannot offer any additional onsite program on this day.
