Founded in Smyrna (Asia Minor) in 1875 by American missionaries from Boston, The American College of Greece is the oldest and largest comprehensive, independent, American-sponsored college in Europe, currently enrolling over 7,900 students, from Greece and more than 70 other countries, in all its educational divisions.

The 41st EGOS Colloquium 2025 coincides with a pivotal moment in ACG’s history: the 150th anniversary of The American College of Greece. As we celebrate this milestone, we reaffirm ACG’s commitment to advancing education, research, and thought leadership through ACG 150 – a strategic vision designed to shape the future of Greece and the global academic community.

How to get to The American College of Greece

While we cannot accommodate all individual transportation needs, shuttle bus service will be provided to offer participants the best possible support!

To accommodate specific needs during the EGOS main Colloquium, a bus will serve specific pick-up points in central Athens for participants staying nearby. This service will prioritize those with special accessibility requirements upon prior communication with the organizers. Participants in need of this additional support are kindly requested to communicate this to the local organizers (egos2025registration@erasmus.gr) by June 20, 2025.
