HEC Montréal

HEC Montréal is Canada's largest and oldest business school. It is an autonomous publicly funded institution founded in 1907 and affiliated with the Université de Montréal with over 250 full-time faculty members, over 12,000 students and 71,000 alumni. It is a pillar of the business community and leader in business-oriented research. The school's roots lie in the Quebec francophone milieu.

With over a hundred years of history, HEC Montréal now has an active presence in over 40 countries. Its solid background in international business makes it the perfect hub for global networking. It was also the first business school in North America to be awarded AACSB International, AMBA and EQUIS, the three most prestigious accreditations in its field.

HEC Montréal offers French, bilingual and trilingual BBA programs, an MBA in either French or English, M.Sc. and PhD programs, and a joint EMBA with McGill University, as well as graduate diplomas, certificates and continuing education.

Université de Montréal

Founded in 1878, the Université de Montréal ranks among the world's major institutions of higher education. With its two affiliated schools – the École Polytechnique and HEC Montréal – it is the largest research center in Quebec and has Canada's second largest student body of 60,000 students, of which over 25% are enrolled in graduate studies.

The Université de Montréal leads Quebec universities in research volume since 2005 and is among the top research universities at the national level.

Deeply rooted in Montréal and dedicated to its international mission, the Université de Montréal is one of the top universities in the French-speaking world. It is the only Canadian university to cover such a wide range of programs from veterinary medicine to particle physics, through theology, music, architecture, optometry and a host of other disciplines.
