Barabara Czarniawska has developed a narrative approach that has been at the centre of the development of the discourse perspective in management and organization studies.

She has received many academic honors and awards including EGOS Honorary Membership in 2011, and she has authored 30 books and 177 chapters and articles, as well as editing 14 volumes.

Barbara's most recent book in English is "Cyberfactories: How News Agencies Produce News".

Cynthia Hardy 's research interests revolve around discourse analysis and theory, institutional entrepreneurship and change, as well as power, politics and identity.

She is a co-founder and co-director of the International Centre for Research in Organizational Discourse, Strategy and Change.

Cynthia has published numerous papers and co-authored or co-edited numerous books, including the award winning "Handbook of Organizational Discourse".
