The EGOS Local Hub Oxford at Saïd Business School this summer welcomes EGOS delegates and the effort to mitigate climate change and provide an inclusive environment for scholars with caring responsibilities. SBS will be an exciting space to work virtually in your sub-theme, chat over coffee and build our OS community over lunch. We will stream the opening and closing ceremonies for all to watch together. You will also be able to sign up for a formal dinner on July 8. Oxford is within easy reach of many cities in Britain and, via London, only a train ride away from Paris and Amsterdam. We look forward to hosting you in our beautiful city steeped in history.

What to expect

  • Access to the open plan working space from July 8–10, between 09:00 and 18:30 (UK time) as well as in the morning of July 11.
  • Note that the Oxford Local Hub will charge a participation fee (approx. GBP 170), which includes access to the workspaces as well as catering at coffee breaks and lunch. The Colloquium dinner at Reuben College on July 10 will be sponsored by Saïd Business School and will not incur any extra cost to participants.
  • Saïd Business School is located next to the train station and central in Oxford only steps away from a variety of hotels and restaurants.
